Unlocking Powerful Editing Features with Marp Theme in VS Code

The latest update to Marp for VS Code brings exciting news for users - we have extended IntelliSense to cover all supported Marp directives! This means that our extension now provides powerful editing features for directives, including auto completion, syntax highlight, hover help, and diagnostics. No longer will you struggle to keep track of the numerous directives scattered across different tools.

Our extension is built on top of three different Marp projects, each with its unique set of directives. With IntelliSense for Marp directives, you'll have a better understanding of the syntax required to write a deck in Marp. As an official Marp integration for GUI, our VS Code extension covers both Web and mobile devices through GitHub Codespaces.

In this release, we've added significant enhancements that make writing presentations more enjoyable and efficient. You can now create your own custom theme using CSS, which is especially useful if you want to differentiate your slides from the default look. With Marp for VS Code, you can write and edit slides rapidly while simultaneously checking their appearance and exporting them into PDF or PPTX formats.

One of the key features that sets our extension apart is its ability to transform the familiar Markdown preview into a slides preview during editing. This allows you to focus on crafting your presentation without worrying about formatting issues.

Marp for VS Code has been in development since 2019, with the goal of replacing the classic Marp app's GUI interface. Today, we're proud to announce that it has reached stable release v1! We're committed to continuing our efforts to develop stable and reliable Marp tools.
